CEO & MD

Sanjay Kumar, CEO and MD Altran India, is a member of Global Management Team of the Altran Group and responsible for managing the Altran India operations. Altran globally is a 2b $ Technology and Innovation Consulting Company headquartered in Paris France and listed on the Paris Stock exchange. It is the largest such company in Europe and among the top three largest companies globally.

Prior to joining Altran Sanjay worked with Royal Dutch Shell Group for over 18 years, where he held various positions in Europe and Asia. In India, he was part of the team that set up Royal Dutch Shell's joint-venture with Bharat Shell and then went on to develop Shell's Bitumen market in India. At the international level, he was in charge of turning around the oil giant retail-lubricants business in 13 Asia-Pacific countries, including Oceania and China. He also played a crucial role in launching several targeted consumer-initiative programmes in Germany, Greece and Turkey designed to boost the lubricant retail-sales business in Europe. Upon his return to India in 2007, Sanjay Kumar helped conceptualize set up Shell's Aviation joint-venture with MRPL in Bangalore (India), then moved to Chennai to launch a Business Intelligence and Strategic Consulting unit. In this role Sanjay was also a part of the Global Strategy and Competitive Intelligence team which worked for the CEO and board of Royal Dutch Shell. This role in Group Strategy helped him develop strategic perspectives on managing business, understanding and predicting the risk and impact of macro- economic indicators on business outcomes. Sanjay considers this role in Group Strategy as his most exciting ones as understanding and developing strategic thinking in a global landscape is a key to enterprise success specially for emerging Indian corporates.

Prior to joining Shell in 1994 Sanjay worked in commercial and marketing roles at Eureka Forbes, Arvind and Marico. He graduated in Physics from the University of Delhi and holds an MBA degree from IRMA Gujarat, besides being an Executive Alumni of IMD Lusanne.

Nadeem Ahmed
Chief Financial Officer
Nadeem Ahmed is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, having experience in Financial and Fiscal management departments and provides leadership to the Finance, Accounting, Business Planning and Budgeting, Treasury, Taxation, Legal and Reporting activities of the Company. He has over 20 years of work experience and has worked on corporate mergers and acquisitions, demergers, business integration and standardization and implementation of financial systems and leading the financial teams.

He has significant experience in setting up strategy and managing the Software Development Centre in India for large MNC companies.

Prior to Altran he has worked in Nokia, Cisco, Sony and Big 4 Audit firm in India.

Saravanan Sokkalingam
Operations Unit Director - Mechanical Engineering
Saravanan is an Industry professional with 3 decades of experience in technology management & product development with a strong techno commercial bearing.

He has led teams to successful completion of several product development programs in the domains of Telecom, Anti-Friction Elements, Automotive, Space, Special Purpose Machine Building and Industrial Equipment.

Early leader in the area of non-conventional energy systems and LED lighting, built start-ups in these areas that today are leaders in this field.

Nageshwar Maddukuri
Operations Unit Director - Intelligent Systems
Nageshwar Rao is a highly capable and adaptable Manager with 15 years’ experience in the aerospace, rail, automotive domains. In that time, Nageshwar Rao has made significant contributions on a variety of large software and systems engineering programs.

He has often been responsible for the delivery of substantial Program deliverables and has successfully trained, coached and mentored others in the use of project methods and tools (effectively providing an internal quality assurance function). This includes delivery of training the communication of identified best practice approaches.

Nageshwar is working with Altran for the last six years and at present as Operations Unit Director for Intelligent Systems. Previously he has worked for Silver Software (now part of Assystems) and BEeHAL.

Chandramouli KSR
Operations Unit Director - Plant Engineering

Chandramouli has 29 years of experience in Project Management and Engineering of Oil and Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals and Power Industries

He has executed several projects in Oil and Gas, Refineries, Power and Petro chemicals as a Project Manager in a multi-discipline environment. Coordinated with all the engineering disciplines, Owners, Vendors and Contractors in successful completion of the Projects.

Experienced in Plant and equipment layouts , Piping General Arrangement drawings, Piping Isometrics, Bill of Materials, Specifications for Piping, Stress Analysis, Dynamic Analysis and Support Engineering.

Experienced in the design of Sub Sea Pipe Lines and On Shore Pipe Lines.

Naveen Chava
Division Director - Intelligent Systems

Naveen has over 17 years of experience in ASIC design, automation, and support, and has successfully implemented designs from 28nm to 130nm technologies. Prior to founding SiCon, Naveen worked as design lead for Nokia Wireless programs and was responsible for requirements gathering, specifications, project management, scheduling and implementation of multiple programs in parallel.

He also worked directly as project lead for multiple-IP development for Physical Design and DFT. He has worked closely with other ASIC backplane teams like cell library design, reliability and other support organizations.

He has worked in the US in Texas Instruments Dallas for 8 years after completing his Masters in the US. Naveen is the Division Director at Altran Technologies India Pvt Ltd.

Gopu Subramanian
Director - Strategic Accounts

Gopu Subramanian, graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1993 from Madras University and did his MS in Manufacturing Management from BITS, Pilani. He has over 18 years of industrial experience in engineering services and product development group with 13+ years in aerospace working for global leading Aircraft OEM and R&D organizations.

His professional accomplishment includes demonstrated technical abilities with blended experience in technical management, project management and leadership skills. He has got his PMP certification from PMI this year.

Nirmala Bhat
HR Director

A Human Resource leader, having more than 18 years of experience in the Engineering and IT Services. Her key competencies include Post Acquisition integration, Formulation of HR strategy emerging from the business strategy, Building HR framework & process for growing organisation and driving people related change in the organisation.

She is currently heading the Human Resources and Administration division for Altran Technologies India. In her previous assignment, she has worked with Safran Engineering Services (French MNC), in the capacity of HR Head for more than 8 years.

She has completed her Masters in HR from NMIMS, Mumbai and her Bachelor in Science (Chemistry) from Bhavans College, Mumbai. She has also done the International Global management programme affiliated with University of Texas, Dallas.

Batcha Mohamed
Director

Batcha has done his Mechanical Engineering, Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nadu, India.

He has over 25 years of experience in engineering design and entrepreneurial leadership in oil & gas and power industry. He has worked in EPC Turn-ley, EPCM, fabrication, construction, commissioning, plant modifications and plant operation & maintenance.

He has Hands-on detail engineering and FEA analysis for reactors, columns, exchangers and tanks.

Perform piping stress analysis Diesel, Naptha and Gas-oil Hydro treaters.

12 years of experience in fabrication shop from design engineer to manager of engineering guiding fabrication engineering on complex pressure vessels, modular packages, material & quality requirements.
