Apptium is honored to receive prestigious awards in the areas of data and analytics and customer experience technology. Most recently, Apptium Technologies was named the Winner of the 2016 Pipeline Innovation Award for Innovations in Customer Experience Management for its Cognitive Troubleshooting Solution.

The Innovation Awards are organized annually by Pipeline and the winners are selected by a judging panel of technical executives from communications service providers, industry analysts and investment firms. This year’s judging panel included Vodafone, Comcast, British Telecom, TimeWarner Cable among other industry experts. The evaluation process is the most extensive in the industry exploring many aspects of innovation and technical advancement, which is scrutinized by the esteemed judging panel.

This is Apptium’s second Pipeline Innovation Award. Apptium won in 2015 for its Intelligent Data Management solution in the Innovations in Data and Analytics category.

The editors who oversee the process and the judges who voted on the Finalists all commented on the level of innovation included within their submission.”

Apptium actively participates in a number of industry forums including Cable Labs, TM Forum, Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF), and the Society of Cable and Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE). We routinely seek out opportunities to engage with industry colleagues and contribute to the overall advancement of communications IT solutions.

Over the past two years Apptium has participated in the TM Forum catalyst project to “create an innovative Analytics Big Data Repository (ABDR) to provide service providers with a unified layer that supports multiple use-cases and multiple analytics systems while improving the customer experience and achieving cost savings.” Apptium has contributed to ABDR project phases 3, 4 and 5 of this innovative proof of concept. Our efforts include contributions to the TMF use case library, Sample Data model, Reference APIs and documentation supporting all the details of the ABDR project and its artifacts.

Apptium’s CMO is an active member of the Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and the GSMA Connected Women programme. Apptium endorses and supports industry initiatives that promote women in technology.

Apptium is also participating in IBM’s Blue Mix initiative on Big Data, where Apptium is very active in this program and has contributed Intellectual Property to the participating community.
