Anish Bafna is General Manager. He assumed the role from 5th October 2009. Anish is responsible for the planning and management of Baxter India. Anish aims to translate company values into everyday operations and is dedicated to preserving strong business alliances with government and customers. He is responsible for accelerating growth in India across all businesses, building profitability at country level, driving strategic investments, and enhancing the product portfolio. Anish has a proven track record in building sustainable and profitable businesses by focusing on continued business improvement. He joined Baxter in April 2006 as Country Manager for Malaysia. Under his leadership, he established the country organization and built robust business growth. Over the years, his role expanded to include Indonesia and other export countries, and he served as interim Country Manager of Vietnam. Prior to Baxter, Anish worked with Mega Life Sciences, Core Healthcare and DHL Worldwide Express. Anish has more than 16 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals, including more than 15 years of operational and general management experience gained through stints in India, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia. Anish holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Gujarat, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Institute of Management Development and Research, Pune, India.

Ravinder took over as Business Unit Director effective May 28, 2012. Ravinder provides leadership to the Medication Delivery business. He along with his team develops and ensures implementation of key strategies to accelerate sustainable business growth and profitability. He is responsible for building on the existing platform and to explore new opportunities to drive faster growth by establishing Baxter leadership in the key business segments. Ravinder has over 19 years of experience in varied industries that range from Healthcare, FMCG and Retail. Ravinder started his career with Max India and then moved to Ciba Vision a subsidiary of Novartis in a sales role, subsequently moving to a marketing role within the organization. After 7 years in Healthcare, he moved to ABP group looking after marketing and circulation sales for Business World. He subsequently joined BILT as Business Head for Retail and Office Supplies and lastly was heading the Services, Companies and Offices Vertical of Metro Cash and Carry India Ltd. Ravinder has a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences from Delhi University and holds an MBA degree from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.

Malti took over as Business Unit Director – Renal, effective 1st of July 2010. Malti will lead Baxter’s Peritoneal Dialysis Solutions and Systems, Hemodialysis systems and dialysis consumables business for India and Indian sub-continent. Malti will provide leadership to the renal business and continue to build a stronger PD therapy business in India. Malti has more than 17 years of experience in the healthcare industry and has worked in Boston Scientific Corporation and Dabur Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Malti joined Baxter in January 2008 as Business Manager of HD and was responsible for the Baxter alliance with Nikkiso, later moving into the Marketing role for the Renal Business Unit. Prior to Baxter, Malti worked as Senior Program Manager with PATH and the Melinda & Bill Gates Foundation. Malti has a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from Delhi University, India and a post-graduate degree in Marketing and Finance from Indraprastha University, India.

Shubhi heads the BioPharma division for Baxter India. Shubhi joined Baxter in January 2007 from Ranbaxy Laboratories, where she was Country Manager- Taiwan and Philippines. During her tenure with Ranbaxy, she handled other responsibilities in their International Marketing Department, like Business Development of new therapy areas across the world such as Biotechnology, Vaccines, Carbapenems, Immnuno-suppressants and Anti-cancer. Prior to joining Ranbaxy, Shubhi worked with SmithKline Beecham for two years and handled vaccines, their key portfolio. She was their youngest product manager and is recognized for her contribution in launch of new vaccines and making them into mega brands. Shubhi graduated with a gold medal in Biochemistry from Delhi University and did her Masters in Biotechnology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. She also has a MBA diploma from International Management Institute, New Delhi to her credit.

Ongmu plays a critical leadership role in strengthening the organization and to build the future organization and talent capabilities to achieve our business growth potential in India. She also provides HR leadership for the commercial and manufacturing organizations in India. Ongmu continues to be the leader for the Total Compensation & HR Operations function with functional alignment to Sal Dadouche, Vice President, Total Compensation & HR Operations. Ongmu joined Baxter in May 2007 as the Total Compensation and HR Operations COE Director for Asia Pacific. Under her leadership, she has established a strong organization and built robust processes. Prior to joining Baxter, Ongmu has 13 years of related HR experience, 11 of which was with the Gillette Company in a variety of roles spanning manufacturing, business, and corporate HR, and has lived and worked in Boston and Dubai. Ongmu holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University and an MBA in Human Resources from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India.

Sandeep Devgon is Director Finance and is responsible for all finance policies, strategies, objectives and plans designed to achieve approved growth, revenue and profit targets. Functional areas include financial control, tax/treasury, financial planning, risk management and business review/audits. Sandeep has over 21 years of experience where he worked with Procter & Gamble (P&G) and American Express. Prior to joining Baxter, he was the Associate Director, Customer Business Development at P&G India where he worked closely with commercial teams to develop and execute P&G’s business strategies, pricing, market positioning, selling strategy, cost and profitability structure. He has spent 18 years with P&G in various roles out of India, Singapore where he was responsible for Financial Planning & Reporting, Internal Audit, and at P&G’s Financial Accounting Centre based in Manila, Philippines leading the delivery of Financial Services and Solutions to Asia countries. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Delhi Institute of Technology, and an MBA in Finance & Systems from IIM Lucknow, India. He is a certified Internal Auditor from the U.S. Institute of Internal Auditors.

Dr. Ashok Moharana - Medical & Regulatory Affairs Director for India and exports area with additional responsibility as regional renal regulatory strategy partner for Asia Pacific Region. Ashok is also a member of Asia Pacific RAPV leadership team and is responsible for medical affairs, regulatory, pharmacovigilance and clinical operations functions. Ashok has more than 13 years of medical and regulatory experience in the pharmaceutical industry in India and South East Asia. In his Pharma career Ashok worked with Dr Reddy’s Group, Torrent, Ranbaxy and Novo Nordisk in various senior leadership roles, successfully supported medical ambition and commercial aspirations of these organizations. He moved to Baxter from his last position in Novo Nordisk as Regional Medical Director for Medical Affairs, Quality, Regulatory and Data Management for Region of Far East countries. Ashok is a gold medalist medical graduate, holds his medical postgraduate degree in Clinical Pharmacology from UCMS & GTB Hospital, Delhi University, India. He has an Executive Management Degree in Business studies from ALBA Graduate Business School, Athens, Greece.

Prasad is Director-Quality. In this position, Prasad is responsible for all Quality Assurance responsibilities for locally manufactured as well as imported products in India. Prasad works closely with all Business Units, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to meet Baxter India’s business goals. He provides leadership and guidance in establishing quality standards and specifications appropriate to Baxter’s business in India. Prasad joined Baxter in September 2010. Prasad brings over fifteen years of experience with him as he moves from Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited, Mohali, where he was General Manager QA. Prior to that Prasad has worked with Sanofi-Aventis, Fulford and Merind in various roles including that of Head Industrial Quality & Compliance. In his previous assignments, Prasad has been associated with many successful GMP inspections conducted by various regulatory agencies, including USFDA, MHRA, Health Canada & ANVISA. Prasad earned his B.Pharm degree from Government College of Pharmacy, Karad and is a post graduate in Pharmacy from SGSITS, Indore.

Ehsan Ehsan Huq took over as Director Biosurgery and BaxSolutions since February 2013. He oversees the BioSurgery business in India and is responsible for conceptualizing and implementing strategic plans to maximize opportunities in large corporate hospital chains and government institutions. He maintains strong relationships with our customers; and works closely with the various business units to make Baxter a preferred partner of our targeted customers. Ehsan and his team coordinate with the Healthcare Solutions Commercial Team to ensure effective management of these accounts, thus accelerating sales growth. Ehsan joined in March 2010, after he spent ten years in sales and marketing with Johnson & Johnson Medical India, where he was associated with leading brands in wound closure, wound management, orthopedics, cardiovascular and diabetes management. Ehsan is a graduate from the St. Xavier’s College in Kolkata; and earned a Masters in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management.

Ravi is leading the Healthcare Innovation function at Baxter International for the India market effective September 2013. He is responsible for providing strategic leadership and identifying the top priority business model innovation opportunities across India, and aligning those priorities with the company and business unit strategies globally. Prior to Baxter, Ravi was with GE Healthcare as Director of Global Marketing (MIC), Emerging Markets, and with GE LED Lighting as a Global Product Marketing Manager, in Cleveland, Ohio, Prior to GE, he worked at Eaton Corp as a Global Product Manager and Spirax Sarco in Chicago.Ravi has more than 18 years of experience in strategic sales/marketing and product innovation in various roles ranging from Healthcare, LED Lighting, Energy, Power and Engineering in multiple industries worldwide. Ravi holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University). He has a Masters’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and a Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering from MS University, Baroda, India.
