Ambarish obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata in 1983 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur in 1987. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Ambarish joined Info Edge in October 2000 and has been part of the early management team. Prior to joining Info Edge, Ambarish has had a wide range of experience in corporate and investment banking with Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, and Bank of America, where he has assisted and advised corporates across a wide spectrum of the industry on capital raising, mergers & acquisitions, and raising working capital.

As a co-promoter Hitesh leads the operations at Info Edge. Apart from the country's leading job site, Naukri.com Info Edge also owns Jeevansathi.com, 99acres.com, Quadrangle, Brijj.com and the recently launched Shiksha.com.

With 10 years of experience in the internet industry, he is part of various industry forums. He currently chairs the Classifieds' Committee for IAMAI and is also a charter member of the TiE, New Delhi.

Prior to Info Edge, Hitesh worked for almost four years as the Regional Planning and Distribution Manager (North India) for the Ice Cream Division of Hindustan UniLever Limited, the Indian arm of Unilever Plc

An alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore, he won the Prestigious Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award along with his Partner Sanjeev Bikhchandani for Business Transformation in 2008.

Allcheckdeals.com, Naukrigulf.com, Shiksha.com, and Firstnaukri.com. Info Edge also runs Quadrangle which is an executive search and selection business. It was the first Internet company to list on the Indian stock exchanges. The company employs over 1600 people and has revenues of over Rs. 270 crores. . Sanjeev, along with his partner Hitesh Oberoi, won the "Ernst and Young - Entrepreneur of the Year" award in 2008 for Business Transformation. He also won the Dataquest Pathbreaker Award & the Teacher's Achievement Award for Business in 2008. Sanjeev is a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship at conferences and at business schools. He is a Board Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs in Delhi and also a member of the Global Board of Trustees of The Indus Entrepreneurs. Sanjeev has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad and he studied Economics at St. Stephen's College, Delhi
