Hackathons
We hold Hack-a-thons around the country each year, both with CDK Associates and the outside programming community.

So, what the ‘hack’ are Hackathons, you ask?

These multi-day events allow our programmers to solve business problem through collaboration. Teams’ ideas are judged by CDK and industry executives,. In the past, winning teams also were given trophies, staycations and bragging rights until the next event. Check out our Hackathons in action.

STEM Events
To bring innovative solutions to our clients, CDK supports the future of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). We’re proud to encourage a love of STEM and problem-solving among the next generation of young coders.

One of our main STEM initiatives is on the growth of female interest in the field. We partner with groups that foster a love of programming, science and coding, including hosting Girls Who Code internships and mentoring events like ChickTech’s Agile in a Day.

Tech Meet-ups
With offices in cities like Seattle, Portland, Chicago and Austin, CDK Associates have easy access to many fellow industry professionals. Our development teams often have meet-ups to discuss trends, new platforms, and to share best practices. In Chicago, we’ve sponsored the AngularJS Hack Night, where members from JS – novices to experts – ‘hacked’ to learn more about the software.
