Jürgen Ingels is the inventor of the Clear2Pay platform, and founded the company, together with Michel Akkermans. Before founding Clear2Pay, Mr. Ingels worked as Senior Investment Manager with Dexia Ventures, the venture capital division of Dexia Bank, Belgium's largest commercial bank. Mr. Ingels's role at Dexia Bank was focused on investing in start-up companies, and taking a pro-active role in their business strategy, product launches and financial management. He represented Dexia Ventures on the boards of numerous companies, including Metris NV (BE), Equipnet direct.com ( US), Smartenergy (US), Xenics NV (BE), Q-star NV (BE), and Red laboratories (BE). He is currently member of the board at Enqio NV, Ribrain, Citymesch NV and a member of Vinnof’s investment committee (Participatiemaatschappij Vlaanderen).

G. Kennedy Thompson is an Executive Advisor at Aquiline Capital Partners, LLC, a New York based financial services private equity firm. Prior to joining Aquiline, Mr. Thompson was President and Chief Executive Officer of Wachovia Corporation from 2000 to 2008. He worked at Wachovia and First Union for 32 years. Mr. Thompson has served in numerous industry leadership positions including Chairman of The Clearing House, Chairman of The Financial Services Roundtable, Chairman of The Financial Services Forum, and President of the International Monetary Conference. He served on the Federal Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Board for three years and was President in 2007. He currently serves on the boards of BNC Bancorp (NASDAQ: BNCN), Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ), the PGA Tour, and the Carolinas Healthcare System. He is a trustee of The Morehead-Cain Foundation.

Since 1999 he has been Managing Director and Partner of Idinvest Partners, formerly know as AGF Private Equity, one of the most active french investors in venture capital with more than 3,5 billion € under management. During this time he has directly managed investments in a large portfolio of information technology companies including Lea (DSL Spliters), PS Soft, Grid Expert, United Device, Sefas innovation, Meilleure Gestion, Clear2Pay (enterprise sofware), Crocus Technology (semi-conductor), Groupe Bernard Julhiet, Cosmosbay (services).

Chief Executive Officer, Editions Lefebvre Sarrut Group Dominique Illien is a well recognised professional who has held numerous senior management and board positions in the financial technology and software space. Graduating from ESCP Europe and as CPA, his career began in the IT sector at Capgemini in Europe and the USA (1981-1992), before moving to Axime (1993-1995) as Chief Financial Officer. Later, as CEO of Groupe Sligos (1995-1997), he played a pivotal role in creating and developing Atos. As COO of Atos, he was responsible for operations in France, Germany, Spain and Italy, in addition to the Worldline and Outsourcing business lines. In 2007, Dominique Illien joined Sopra Group, a European company focused on software development and systems integration, as Managing Director and Board member.

Barend Van de Brande founded Big Bang Ventures in 2000. As Managing Partner, Barend oversees all aspects of fund and investment management. He currently serves on the board of directors of Clear2Pay, Mobiluck, Wakoopa, Travel Intelligence Group and MMOlife. He was a director on the board of DCT (acquired by Symantec) and Dedigate (acquired by Terremark Inc.) Previously, Barend co-founded SwiftTouch (US). He began his career in as a Financial Analyst for SG Cowen in Boston, Massachusetts, focusing on Internet and data-networking companies. Barend was president of the Benelux Tech Tour 2006.

Erkan Kilicaslan is a Partner with Iris Capital since 2005 and is responsible for international investments in the IT, communications and media industry. He joined from TecVenture Partners, a Munich based Venture Capital fund where he focused on IT investments and worked as a supervisory board member of numerous technology companies on issues around M&A, strategic positioning and technology growth management.
