Satish Reddy steers two of the company’s core businesses: Pharmaceutical Services & Active Ingredients (PSAI) and Global Generics businesses. He joined Dr. Reddy’s in 1993 as Executive Director and in 1997, went on to become the Managing Director of the company. Satish serves as a National Council member of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), as Chairman of CII National Committee on Drugs and Pharmaceuticals, and as an executive council member of the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA). Earlier, he was also a member of the "The Drugs Technical Advisory Board" (DTAB) of India, the highest policy making body under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act in India between 2005- 2011. Satish received the 2009 Distinguished Alumnus Award from the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Purdue University, U.S.A. He was identified as a “Young Global Leader for 2007” by the World Economic Forum, and was awarded the “IBLA - India Corporate Citizen of the Year" by CNBC in 2005 for his efforts in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility. At present, he is a trustee of Dr. Reddy’s Foundation (DRF), a not-for-profit organization that focuses on creating sustainable livelihood and providing education to under privileged youth. He is the architect of the company’s successful Global Generics and API strategies, and has spearheaded Dr. Reddy’s foray into Biosimilars and Differentiated Formulations. His efforts have led the company to a leadership position in the Indian pharmaceutical sector and helped create a significant presence globally, while being recognized for scientific innovation, people practices, and corporate governance. Prasad serves on the boards of the Indian School of Business, Institute of Life Sciences, Infotech Enterprises, and Acumen Fund. Causes which are closest to his heart include sustainable development and higher education. The premium Prasad places on sustainability thinking has helped Dr. Reddy’s embrace green technologies and processes, and thereby reduce the company’s ecological footprint. Dr. Omkar Goswami is Founder and Chairman of CERG Advisory Private Limited, a consulting and advisory firm. He taught and researched economics for 18 years at Oxford, Delhi School of Economics, Harvard, Tufts, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Rutgers University and the Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi. In March 1997, he moved away from formal academics to become the Editor of Business India, one of the country’s most prestigious business magazines. From August 1998 up to March 2004, Dr. Goswami served as Chief Economist of the Confederation of Indian Industry – the premier apex industry organization of India.
