Satish Reddy steers two of the company’s core businesses: Pharmaceutical Services & Active Ingredients (PSAI) and Global Generics businesses. He joined Dr. Reddy’s in 1993 as Executive Director and in 1997, went on to become the Managing Director of the company. Satish serves as a National Council member of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), as Chairman of CII National Committee on Drugs and Pharmaceuticals, and as an executive council member of the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA). Earlier, he was also a member of the "The Drugs Technical Advisory Board" (DTAB) of India, the highest policy making body under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act in India between 2005- 2011. Satish received the 2009 Distinguished Alumnus Award from the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Purdue University, U.S.A. He was identified as a “Young Global Leader for 2007” by the World Economic Forum, and was awarded the “IBLA - India Corporate Citizen of the Year" by CNBC in 2005 for his efforts in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility. At present, he is a trustee of Dr. Reddy’s Foundation (DRF), a not-for-profit organization that focuses on creating sustainable livelihood and providing education to under privileged youth. Dr. Omkar Goswami is Founder and Chairman of CERG Advisory Private Limited, a consulting and advisory firm. He taught and researched economics for 18 years at Oxford, Delhi School of Economics, Harvard, Tufts, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Rutgers University and the Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi. In March 1997, he moved away from formal academics to become the Editor of Business India, one of the country’s most prestigious business magazines.
