Prior to joining Emami Agrotech Limited as the CEO, Mr. Desai was with Bunge India Pvt. Ltd. as Director/Vice President. Earlier he worked as Chief Trader, with ITC Agrotech/ConAgra. A Management Graduate from IRMA, Gujarat he has 27 years of experience in all facets of agri business/edible oil. He is an active member of Industry Trade Bodies like SEA (Solvent Extractors Association) and has served as the Director of Bombay Commodity Exchange. He is also a Product Committee member of NCDEX.

Mr. Swapan Kumar Mondal

Mr. S. K. Mondal holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from NIT, Durgapur and a PGDM from Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata (IIMC).
He has more than 38 years of experience in various manufacturing companies and financial institutions like Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL), The Industrial Finance Corporation of India Ltd. (IFCI) and Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI). He possesses vast experience in the areas of production, project management, plantation and international marketing. He is associated with a number of industry trade bodies and is serving Biodiesel Association of India as the Vice-President.
