About Hilton Worldwide in India

Hilton Worldwide is one of the fastest growing hotel companies in terms of deals globally. Last year, the company more than doubled its trading estate in India by launching six hotels, and it also introduced two additional hotel brands in the country – the upscale, full-service DoubleTree by Hilton and mid-market, focused-service Hampton by Hilton. Hilton Worldwide expects to increase its presence in India to 14 operating hotels by the end of this year and 50 hotels in the next five years. Presently the company operates nine hotels under four brands in India. These include Hilton New Delhi/Janakpuri, Hilton Chennai, Hilton Mumbai International Airport, Hilton New Delhi-Noida-Mayur Vihar, Eros Hotel – Managed by Hilton New Delhi/Nehru Place, DoubleTree by Hilton New Delhi-Noida-Mayur Vihar, DoubleTree by Hilton Gurgaon-New Delhi NCR, Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi/Saket and Hampton by Hilton Vadodara-Alkapuri.

» Released the 2010 LightStay results, which reported that the company saved more than US $74 million in utility costs as a result of reducing energy use by 6.6%, carbon output by 7.8%, waste output by 19% and water use by 3.8%
