About Us

Our Heritage The first Khimji showroom was established in 1936 by Shri Khimji Dayabhai in the Northern Odisha town of Baripada in the erstwhile princely State of Mayurbhanj. From such humble beginnings, the Khimji brand, having consolidated their core strengths of integrity, reliability and purity, ventured into the new capital of Odisha, Bhubaneswar in 1984 and established the first organised jewellery store there. The popularity and confidence of the people of Bhubaneswar in the Khimji Brand led to the opening of a bigger showroom by the second generation in 1999 in Shriya Square covering 3 levels. This store showcased gold, diamond and silver jewellery and in addition to this conventional jewellery, Italian and Turkish jewellery were introduced for the first time in Odisha.

Khimji – Today
Khimji has continued to be the jewellery store of choice and preference for the people of Odisha. The Khimji Group has 3 exclusive retail outlets in Odisha with the flagship store at Khimji Tower in Bhubaneshwar. This store is one of the largest in Eastern India spread over 20,000 sq. ft. and three levels. We also have our presence in Cuttack and Rourkela with exclusive stores of 5,000 and 6,000 sq. ft. respectively.

Khimji – Firsts
Khimji has many firsts to its credit and a few of these are listed below:

1. The first Organised jewellery store in Odisha established as far back as 1936.

3. The first jeweller in Eastern India to get the coveted ISO 9001:2008 and BIS certificate for Hallmarked jewellery.
