Mr. Shiv Kumar, the visionary Founder Chairman of Kumar Group of Industries , is widely credited as being an entrepreneur par excellence in the entire Uttrakhand State. He is best described as a compassionate humanitarian, who has dedicated his life to building not only a large multi-dimensional organization but also uplifting the lives of thousands of people in the state. The institution that he has built and the values and vision that he has inculcated has actually helped transform the area from backwardness to prosperity. It has always been Mr. Shiv Kumar’s vision to build a business model with an intrinsic ‘social conscience’. Mr. Shiv Kumar belongs to a renowned 100 year old business family of freedom fighters of Hapur, Distt. Ghaziabad. He is the founder member of Kumaon Garhwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KGCCI). He is a past Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Kumaon Division.

Awards & Accolades

Mr. Shiv Kumar was awarded the Young Entrepreneur Award in 1983 by Jaycees Club, Rudrapur. He is also a recipient of the largest Exporter Award by Uttar Pradesh Government in the year 1982 and 1983. In 2005, the then Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri N.D. Tiwari honoured Mr. Shiv Kumar as “Udyog Ratna” for his contribution to socio-economic development in the state at the prestigious platform of PHDCCI.

In 2007 Mr. Shiv Kumar was honoured as the “Kumaon Gaurav- The Pride of Kumaon” for his outstanding contribution to economic development of Kumaon and for providing employment to thousands by the leading Newspaper – Dainik Jagran. He was also awarded for appreciable work done by him in the industrial sector in 2013 by the Governor of Uttarakhand – Dr. Aziz Qureshi at the Pandit Ram Sumer Shukla Memorial Talent Recognition Ceremony. A man of principles, Mr. Shiv Kumar has always been a self motivated person full of positive energy. He has always believed in motivating those around him with his values, experiences and lessons that life has taught him in his journey.

Mr. Abhishek, the elder son of Mr. Shiv Kumar has been instrumental in mounting the future growth of the Group. With his understanding of business and entrepreneurial abilities he has been successful in identifying growth opportunities and striking the right business deals. Mr. Abhishek has been at the forefront in creating and introducing innovation that provides LSC Infratech Ltd with a capacity to deliver world class products & services.

He has immense expertise in variety of business sectors and possesses unique ability to recognize global trends and has worked with governments, financial institutions and organizations around the world. He has provided remarkable contribution towards strategic distribution, marketing and technology partnerships, to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

Mr. Saurabh Agarwal

Mr. Saurabh, the younger son of Mr. Shiv Kumar is a hard core technical person and has been involved in establishing units and looking after operations. Under his able guidance and due to his dynamic initiatives, Kumar Group of Industries has expanded exponentially and has technologically progressed fast to establish plants within minimum time and with state-of-the-art equipment. He has been to many places in the world to explore mining & crushing activities to access the latest technology being adopted by rest of the world. He has become an expert in immediately modernizing the plants and improving the technology.
