About TI India

In August 1985, TI was the first global technology company to establish its presence in India. Ever since, TI in India has become a center for innovation and leadership. The focus at TI India has consistently been on innovation where some of the best technologists in the country develop solutions that impact millions of people. TI India has many ‘firsts’ to its credit, with first processor for control applications to industry’s lowest power ICs to best in class Analog products. There is hardly any chip produced by TI that is not touched by engineers at TI India.

Today TI in India is deeply involved in developing state-of-the-art products for automotive, industrial, IOT, smartphones, consumer electronics and much more. In three decades of our presence in India, we have emerged as a key R&D site for TI and recognized as the most innovative company in the country by the Government of India and Dataquest.

We invest in our people by providing them opportunities to learn and grow, while working with the best minds in the industry. Our engineers work on a wide range of products and disruptive technologies, with end-to-end ownership, where they get to make a global impact.

In addition to being a significant R&D center for TI globally, TI in India houses Kilby Labs, a hallmark innovation and research set up at TI which works on delivering breakthrough technology on “nano-power circuits and systems” foundational technology.

Since 2006, in addition to being a significant and critical R&D center for TI globally, TI India has increased its focus on the Indian semiconductor market. We work closely with our customers in India in a wide array of sectors such as industrial electronics (UPS, inverters, energy meters, lighting, etc.), medical electronics (ultrasound scanners, x-ray machines, ECG machines, MRI scanners, etc.), telecom and automotive.
